Do users have to pay to use the Spime mobile app?
No. The Spime mobile app is free for users to download and use, with no credit card required.Users can participate in Spimes, capture and share content, and interact with organizations through the app at no cost.Spime also offers optional Premium features and memberships for users who want additional capabilities, but these are not required to interact with your organization or participate in its Spimes.
What user roles are supported by the Spime Business Portal?
The Spime Business Portal supports a structured network of Regional Representatives, Resellers, Clients, Ad Brokers, and Advertisers, all managed through role-specific access and workflows.Spime Administrators appoint Regional Representatives, who can establish and manage Resellers within their territories. Resellers, in turn, sign up and manage Clients. Clients create and operate their own Spimes and can work directly with Advertisers to sell and manage advertising within them.In parallel, Spime Administrators and Regional Representatives can appoint Ad Brokers and assign them specific countries or territories. Ad Brokers use the Business Portal to identify eligible Clients, negotiate advertising arrangements, and manage Advertisers and ad placements.The Portal provides the workflow, permissions, geographic controls, and management tools needed to coordinate these relationships from initial onboarding through ongoing operations.
How are geographic boundaries managed?

Spime enforces geographic boundaries directly within the Business Portal, based on each party’s contractual arrangements.

System Administrators define the areas available to each Regional Representative. Regional Representatives can then allocate portions of their authorized territory to their Resellers, and Resellers can do the same for their Clients—always within their own permitted boundaries and according to their respective agreements.

The interface visually identifies available and restricted geographic cells, preventing users from assigning territories or creating Spimes outside the areas they are authorized to operate in.

Do you have any content restrictions?
We do not permit the public sharing of real-world, graphic violence outside of a newsworthy context. Violating content or users may be deleted without prior notice.
What is the current state of the Spime platform?

The Spime mobile app has been in production since Summer 2024 and is available for both iOS and Android through their respective app stores.

The Spime Business Portal launched in Q4 2024 and continues to evolve alongside the mobile platform. We regularly introduce new capabilities, enhancements, and refinements across the Spime ecosystem.

Who developed Spime?
Spime is the brainchild of Al (Alkis) Poullis of Toronto, Canada. Al, with over 40 years of professional experience in IT, Systems Analysis, Software Architecture & Development, and Management, is also Spime's lead developer.
